A sampling from a variety of Feingold’s series of recent years, using space, color, and texture to evoke imaginary internal landscapes. All have been created through a labor-intensive process that features repetitive applications of oil paint and mixed media to discover the emerging imagery.
Tina Feingold works out of her studio in Brookline, MA. She received an M.F.A from Boston University and has exhibited throughout New England and New York. Tina has taught at Boston College, Northeastern University, the University of Massachusetts, and the College of Creative Studies at the University of California/Santa Barbara. Current work features oil painting and works on paper - her abstract presentations incorporate images reflective of her early training as a figurative artist.
